Valerie Stuhrenberg - Daisy Award

Dee Burbank, an ISH employee, called this morning and wanted to share how much she appreciated the staff in the Belmond ER.  Her significant other, Mark Alcorn, left his home for work without his LVAD battery. He ended up presenting to the ER when the battery was alarming.  The ER staff, Amy Luick and Valerie Stuhrenberg, helped find him a local source who could charge his LVAD until Dee got to the ER from Fort Dodge.  She said they were so kind to him by simply helping and also fed him while he was there.  She wanted to share how much she appreciated them, and how proud she was to work for a place that showed the genuine care they did and worked their resources to help him.
