Iowa Specialty Hospital’s 300th baby of 2024, Ezra, was born on June 23rd at 3:07 in the afternoon to parents Paige and Matthew. Baby Ezra weighed 8 pounds 12.7 ounces and was 22 inches in length. 
Ezra’s parents stated, “Thank you to an outstanding Iowa Specialty Hospital care team. This is our third delivery in Clarion, and each time ISH has delivered exceptional care. Well done!”
Iowa Specialty Hospital’s Maternity Center is located at its Clarion campus. “As we roll through 2024, our OB Department just continues to be blessed with more amazing opportunities to care for the great families that choose ISH!” stated Jenn Mewes, OB Leader. “We value the sustained support from you all.”
In 2023, Iowa Specialty Hospital delivered 594 babies, which was one of the most babies ever delivered at the facility in a year. They are currently well on their way to surpassing that total.
