Iowa Specialty Hospitals in Belmond and Clarion recently received funding from the Wright County Charitable Foundation that enabled them to purchase a phlebotomy chair (Belmond) and an OB fetal monitor (Clarion).
ISH – Clarion received $2,100 to go toward the purchase of an OB fetal monitor. This device will be used for non-stress tests to check the wellbeing of the baby by recording the fetal heart rate.
ISH – Belmond received $1,750 to go toward the purchase of a phlebotomy chair. This chair will be used for outpatient blood draws as well as for pre-admit surgical patients. The phlebotomy chair can be used for all patients and has the capability to recline.
