Physical therapy

Physical therapy (PT) is the treatment or prevention of functional deficits from an illness or injury. The treatments may include gait, balance and transfer training, exercise programs, manual therapy, and possibly the use of physical modalities like electrical stimulation, ultrasound / phonophoresis, iontophoresis, or thermotherapy.
